Message from the President
Welcome to the Centre for Security Analysis (CSA) website. CSA is a
unique initiative. It will concentrate on spreading the message that
security is more than
a
purely military phenomenon. The comprehensive nature of security, to
include the economic, societal, environmental, political dimensions,
will be the primary objective of the Centre. In addition, the CSA will
endeavour to develop a perspective on security for the southern states
of India or peninsular India. The Centre plans to work closely with
policy groups and individuals in and outside India. It will also provide
a platform for visiting scholars from India and abroad to interact with
security experts in Chennai and southern states of India.
